Our Services

We provide the processing and transportation capabilities needed to turn rough lumber into finished products and move them efficiently to market.

One operation. Multiple capabilities.

From remanufacturing and product finishing to reload and transportation, Oroville offers the flexibility and expertise to support a wide range of customer needs.

Remanufacturing

Oroville’s remanufacturing operation adds value to lumber through precision processing and finishing. Our Vertical Double Arbor (VDA) saw processes 2-inch cants into 1-inch boards. These boards then move through the planer, where they are surfaced on all four sides (S4S) to produce a smooth, finished surface.

Depending on customer and product requirements, boards can subsequently be processed through the moulder to create value-added profiles such as tongue-and-groove (T&G), Nickel Gap and End Match.

This combination of sawing, planing and moulding allows us to convert rough lumber into high-quality, finished products for a variety of applications.

Reload and transportation

Oroville also provides reload capabilities by truck and rail, helping our customers move lumber efficiently through the supply chain.

Our strategic location in Washington state and its access to transportation infrastructure make it a valuable link between the Gorman Group’s Canadian manufacturing operations and U.S. markets. Whether products are moving by truck or rail car, Oroville provides the handling and logistics capabilities needed to keep shipments moving.
